Having spent the time since 2010's Innundir Skinni touring the US with Blonde Redhead and Jonathan Richman, among others - honing her repertoire of cover songs along the way - Arnalds retreated to the upstate New York studio of Mice Parade's Adam Pierce, along with regular collaborator Skuli Sverrisson, to record this lovely collection earlier this year.
The result is a quietly stunning EP that serves as both an essential release for Arnalds' fans, as well as a fitting introduction for the uninitiated to her sweetly powerful, unforgettable voice. The beautifully-packaged CD version of the EP includes a code to download b-sides, bonus tracks, and a video from Innundir Skinni.
